2025 Annual Wesak Celebration

Save the Date! Our annual Wesak celebration will be held Wednesday May 14th, from 6:00 – 7:30 pm.
In the Theravada tradition Wesak celebrates the birth, Enlightenment, and parinibbana of the Buddha on the full moon in May. (the actual full moon is May 12th).
This year’s celebration will focus on the first turning of the wheel, the Buddha’s first teachings upon his Enlightenment. Everyone will have the opportunity to take refuge in the Triple Gem and the Five Precepts for Lay People.
It is Lucinda’s tradition to give a gift and a wish to everyone who attends.
For Wesak, it is traditional to bring flowers as an offering for the altar. Vases will be supplied. Refreshments will be served. Come celebrate with us!
